ARTALINNA
Only digitally available on platforms.

After a first album with Artalinna featuring five more or less well-known sonatas composed in 1943, Jocelyn Aubrun, here joined by the pianist Ursula Alvarez Heredia, champions the music for flute and piano of one of the most important personalities of early twentieth-century Paris, Philippe Gaubert. The three Sonatas and the Sonatina, as well as two charming little pieces, bear witness to an often surprising compositional verve, a testimony to the multiple aesthetics in fashion at the time.
